Today in dance we focused On how to write A CV when applying for A dance vacancy.
We were given A copy of A woman's cv named Keira Dayton - Smith.
On her cv was an Objective. This is a setence or two which explain what you are aiming for in your dance life. This is what Keira had written, " To continue to develop technique as a dance company member and to peform as principle in "Sleeping Beauty".
Next on the cv is the Credits/Professional Experience. This shows what plays/performances or films you have been involved in.
Following that is the Training/Education. In this section is where you put down your records of what schools you attended & what qualification you left the school with.
On the cv after that is the Skills. Here is where you write down what your good at e.g Martial Arts, Fencing, Stage Fighting. Ballet RAD, Tapo ISTD. Juggling, Acting Improvisation & Capoeira.
Finally on the cv is your Personal Interests. This is the part where you tell the person you are sending this to the stuff you do in your free time.
Today's lesson made me feel prefessional & responsible.
